Bennet & Michael, Attorneys at Law, Announces Veterans Scholarship for Veterans or Their Families Pursuing a Degree In Criminal Justice or Law
Bennett & Michael, Attorneys at law, are offering a $1,000 award to the winner of the Bennett & Michael Scholarship. Tennessee residents who are veterans or a family member of a veteran are invited to participate.
”As a retired U.S. Marine I have a deep appreciation for veterans and their families and their service to our country. I hope this scholarship helps another veteran pursue their career the law or the criminal justice field.”
Contest Requirements
Deadline for the 2017 contest is Jan. 30, 2017.
Essays must be between 500 and 750 words.
Each essay must be the original work of the student submitting it.
Students are asked to write a story or essay on the following theme:
Why I desire to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice or Law?
Entries will be judged on the basis of content, readability, and technical writing ability.
The winner will be announced at www.stanbennettlaw.com on Feb. 28, 2017.
