Covering just over nine square miles, Unionville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located in Bedford County, Tennessee. As of the 2010 Census, Unionville had a population of 1,368 residents.
Bedford County was carved out of Rutherford County in 1807. At that time, residents living south of the Duck River and the Stones River petitioned the governor to split Rutherford County in two. The new county of Bedford was named after Thomas Bedford, an American Revolutionary War officer and the owner of significant land located in the new county. Bedford County, in turn, has since been reduced in size as the new counties of Coffee, Moore, Lincoln, and Marshall were all subsequently created from Bedford County.
First platted in 1827, Unionville got its name from the union created after two rival settlements agreed to merge into one.
Criminal Lawyers Near You
Being arrested and charged with a crime can be a frightening as well as confusing experience. Before you can even begin to formulate a defense, you must first figure out how to navigate the judicial system. That alone can be a daunting task if you have never before been accused of committing a criminal offense. You have several important rights as an accused that are guaranteed to you by the U.S. Constitution; however, you must understand those rights and assert them at the appropriate time in order for them to protect you as intended. Retaining an experienced criminal defense attorney to represent you is the best way to ensure that you, and your rights, are protected. If you find yourself wondering “Are there any good criminal lawyers near me?” we urge you to remember the skilled defense attorneys at Bennett & Michael.
Divorce Lawyers Offering Free Consultations
Whether you are just contemplating divorce, have already decided to end your marriage, or you were recently served with divorce papers, your first thought should be “I need to find a good divorce lawyer near me.” Ideally, you and your spouse will make it through the divorce process amicably and will be able to reach a mutually acceptable marital settlement agreement without the need for protracted litigation. Unfortunately, however, there is a good chance that your divorce will become contentious at some point. If it does, having an experienced and committed divorce lawyer on your side will be crucial to ensuring that your best interests are protected. Even if you are fortunate enough to make it through the process with little or no animosity, it is still important to consult with an attorney if you have assets, debts, or minor children to make sure all potential issues are addressed and resolved properly during the divorce.
Attorneys Who Specialize in Wills
One of the most precious gifts you can give to your loved ones is to create an estate plan that includes a Last Will and Testament. Having at least a basic Will in place ensures that you will not leave behind an intestate estate when you are gone. Dying intestate (without a Will) is akin to allowing the state to create an estate plan for you because it means the state intestate succession laws decide how your estate assets are distributed. Executing a Will also lets you decide who will oversee the probate of your estate which must occur following your death. If you get married, become a parent, or acquire significant assets you will probably want to expand on your simple estate plan by adding tools and strategies such as an asset protection trust, a Medicaid planning component, or an advance directive to plan for the possibility of your own incapacity. If you are now asking yourself “How do I find an experienced estate planning attorney in my area?” you need look no further than the attorneys at Bennett & Michael. We would be honored to help you with your current and future estate planning needs.

Client's Testimonial
I am confused about the only review on this page. It is so not the truth. I have had Mr. Bennett as my lawyer a couple of times and know him very well. Most attorneys know that they make alot of money of you and that is all that they care about. However, Mr. Bennett really does care about you as a person. He always asks about what is going on in my life, and cares about my well being. In the courtroom he tries his absolute best to get you in the least amount of trouble as possible, and almost always succeeds! I got out of a lot of trouble that i so deserved to be in, and without him I couldn't have. I already have recommended him to other people and will continue to do so forever. Great Lawyer and you will not be disappointed. Hiring him was worth literally every penny!
